MICROWAVE SNICKERDOODLES 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Cream butter and sugars in large mixing bowl. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Blend into creamed mixture; chill. Shape dough into 3/4-inch diameter balls. Roll in mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Place 12 balls on high temperature microwavable baking sheet lined with waxed paper. Cook on full power for 1 minute, 30 seconds to 2 minutes or until cookies are set but slightly moist around the edges. You may wish to turn sheet halfway through cooking. Cool slightly before removing from waxed paper.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
