MICROWAVE SNICKERDOODLES | |
1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. sugar 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar 1 egg 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. sugar 1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon Cream butter and sugars in large mixing bowl. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Blend into creamed mixture; chill. Shape dough into 3/4-inch diameter balls. Roll in mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Place 12 balls on high temperature microwavable baking sheet lined with waxed paper. Cook on full power for 1 minute, 30 seconds to 2 minutes or until cookies are set but slightly moist around the edges. You may wish to turn sheet halfway through cooking. Cool slightly before removing from waxed paper. |
