MILK GRAVY | |
3 tbsp. cooking oil 3 tbsp. flour 3/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 3/4 c. vegetable liquid 3/4 c. milk Heat oil, blend in flour, salt and pepper. Stir until brown. Slowly stir in cold vegetable liquid. Boil 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in milk. Heat thoroughly but do not boil. Serve at once. Yield: 6 servings. The cooking water drained off boiled potatoes is delicious in this gravy. |
