2 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
3 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg or cinnamon
3/4 c. milk

Mix together and drop by teaspoon into hot oil. Brown on all sides and remove from oil and drain on paper towel. Roll do-nuts in sugar and cinnamon mixture or powdered sugar or a glaze.
