CHEESE 'N SAUSAGE STRATA 
1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage
3/4 c. sliced mushrooms
1/4 c. sliced green onions
1/2 lb. Velveeta pasteurized cheese spread, cubed
4 c. (3/4") bread cubes
4 eggs, beaten
1 c. milk

Brown sausage; drain. Add vegetables, continue cooking 5 minutes; drain. Set aside to cool 10 minutes. Stir together sausage mixture, process cheese spread and bread cubes; place in greased 8" square baking dish. Beat eggs and milk. Pour over sausage mixture. Cover; refrigerate several hours or overnight. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove cover. Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Garnish as desired. 6 servings.
