PEPPERMINT BROWNIE MELTAWAYS | |
1 pkg. Betty Crocker fudge brownie mix 1/2 c. flaked coconut 1/2 c. chopped nuts 3 c. powdered sugar 1/3 c. butter, softened 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract Add 2 tbsp. milk 2 sq. (1 oz. each) unsweetened chocolate 2 tsp. butter 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Prepare brownies according to package directions, except add coconut and nuts. Bake as directed. 3. Mix powdered sugar, 1/3 cup butter and the peppermint extract. 4. Stir in milk, 1 teaspoon at a time until spreading consistency. 5. Spread over cooked brownies and refrigerate for 30 minutes. 6. Heat chocolate and 2 teaspoons butter until melted. 7. Drizzle evenly over frosting, spread evenly. 8. Refrigerate for about 15 minutes, then cut into squares. |
