MINUTE BOIL FUDGE FROSTING 
2 oz. chocolate, finely chopped
1 1/2 c. sugar
7 tbsp. milk
2 tbsp. shortening
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. Karo syrup (light)
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Place chocolate, sugar, milk, shortening, butter, Karo, and salt in a saucepan. Bring to a full boil, slowly, stirring constantly, and boil briskly 1 minute (on a rainy or humid day boil mixture 1 1/2 minutes). Cool to lukewarm. Add vanilla and beat until thick enough to spread. If frosting becomes too thick add a little milk.
