GLOGG 
6 c. water
12 oz. pitted prunes, quartered
1 c. blanched whole almonds
1 bottle Port
2 c. sugar
1 c. raisins
1/2 gallon burgundy
2 c. vodka

SPICE BAG:

2 tbsp. whole cloves
4 sticks cinnamon
2 slices fresh ginger (opt.)
4 whole cardamom seeds, crushed
Peel of 2 oranges

Tie all spices in cheese cloth. Bring sugar and water to a boil. Drop in spice bag and boil for 10 minutes. Add prunes and raisins. Simmer for 20 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and heat (do not boil). Cool and cover. Refrigerate overnight or until ready to serve. Remove spice bag and heat (do not boil). Drink served warm. 48 servings.
