STUFFED GREEN PEPPERS 
3 lg. green peppers
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 c. dry bread crumbs or cracker crumbs
1 tbsp. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce

Heat oven to 350 degrees cut thin slice. Crom stem end of each pepper. Remove all seeds and membrame, wash inside and outside. Heat 1 cup water and 1/2 tsp. salt to boiling, add pepper, cook 5 minutes and drain. Mix remaining ingredients lightly stuff each pepper with 1/3 the meat mixture stand peppers upright in ungreased baking dish, 8x8x2 inches. Cover, bake 45 minutes, uncover bake 15 minutes longer. Serves 2 to 3 people.
