NO-ROLL PIE CRUST 
1 c. (250 mL) all-purpose flour
Dash salt
2 tbsp. (30 mL) butter
2 tbsp. (30 mL) powdered sugar
1/4 c. (50 mL) shortening
4 tsp. (20 mL) cold water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. (180 degrees C.). Assemble mixer. Put all ingredients into the small mixer bowl. Beat at Speed #3 until all particles are well blended. Form into ball and press firmly onto sides and bottom of 9" (23 cm) pie pan. Bake 12 to 15 minutes. Yield: 1 (9") (23 cm) pastry shell.
