CHESS PIE 
1 stick butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten separately
4 tbsp. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat eggs one at a time, then add to butter and sugar, which has been beaten together. Add buttermilk and vanilla. Cook slowly in uncooked crust. I like a meringue, so, if you use a meringue you will need 2 or 3 egg whites beaten, then brown slowly.
