CUSTARD KUCHEN 
CRUST:

1/2 c. butter
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg yolk, beaten
1 c. flour

FILLING:

3 c. fruit (sour cherries or rhubarb)
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. plus 1 1/2 tbsp. flour

CUSTARD:

1 egg
1/4 c. sour cream

Blend all crust ingredients together; press onto bottom and sides of 9 inch cake pan. For filling, combine fruit with sugar and flour; spoon over crust. Make custard by beating together egg and cream; pour over filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Yield: 10 servings.
