MAMA'S NUT BREAD 
2 c. plain flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
2 eggs

Sift flour once before measuring; add dry ingredients and sift three times; add chopped nuts and mix well. Beat eggs until light - add milk and add this mixture to the dry mixture, stirring only enough to mix thoroughly. Bake in a 350 degree oven about 45 minutes. Cool and slice. (Grease loaf pan and line with greased brown paper bag cut to fit pan - this will keep loaf from burning.) Delicious spread with butter and heated! (This is made as a Christmas tradition at our house for Christmas brunch.)
