EASY BAKED BEANS 
4 slices bacon, diced
1/4 c. onion, chopped
2 (1 lb.) cans Heinz vegetarian beans in tomato sauce
1/4 c. Heinz tomato ketchup
3 tbsp. light brown sugar
1 tsp. Heinz Worcestershire sauce
Dash of garlic powder

Saute bacon until almost crisp. Add onion. Continue to saute until onion is tender. Drain excess fat. Combine bacon and onion with beans and remaining ingredients in a 1 quart casserole. Bake, uncovered, in 375 degree oven 50 to 55 minutes or until hot. Stir occasionally. Makes 6 servings (about 3 1/2 cups.)

this is my favorite baked bean recipe, it comes out great just as the recipe is! you could substitute the beans for pork and beans if you have them on hand, but be careful stirring them because they are softer and will make a pan of mushy baked beans if over-stirred. i've also made this in the crockpot and its very good whether it's from the crockpot or oven. only thing I'd change is add extra bacon, ex. if you double the recipe use 1 lb. of bacon instead of just 8 slices.
