FORGOTTEN PUDDING (MERINGUE) 
6 egg whites (room temperature)
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pt. whipping cream
Fresh fruit

Beat egg whites until foamy and add cream of tartar and salt. Gradually add sugar. Add vanilla when stiff.

Grease bottom of 13 x 9 x 2 glass dish. Spread mixture in this. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Put in and turn oven off. Leave overnight without looking. Cover 1 or 2 hours before serving with whipped cream. Serve with fresh fruit.
