BUTTERMILK SALAD 
1 - 15 1/4-ounce can crushed pineapple
2 - 1/2 cups water, boiling
1 - 6-ounce strawberry flavored gelatin or (raspberry)
2 cups buttermilk
1 - 12 ounce carton cool whip
1/2 cup nuts, chopped

Heat pineapple and add gelatin. Stir until dissolved. Let cool and add buttermilk, Cool whip, and nuts. Mix well and pour into salad mold and chill. May use 13 x 8 x 2 inch pan.

Serves 6-8.
