BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 lb. round steak, cut into thin strips
2 tbsp. butter
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
1 env. dry onion soup mix
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. each milk and water
1/2 c. sour cream
2 tbsp. sherry

Brown steak in butter. Add mushrooms, stir in onion soup mix and flour, add milk and water. Cook, stirring constantly until slightly thick. Cover and cook on low heat 45 minutes; stir twice while cooking.

Blend in sour cream and sherry. Heat through. DO NOT BOIL. Serve over noodles or rice.
