2 c. unsifted cake flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
4 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. shortening
1/4 c. butter
1/8 tsp. BLAIR butter flavoring
1 tsp. BLAIR almond or lemon or vanilla flavoring (only one)

Mix together 2 tablespoons sugar and 1 teaspoon Blair ground nutmeg and use to dust a greased 10 inch tube pan. Mix butter and other flavoring with milk in a large mixing bowl. Add remaining ingredients and beat for 20 minutes. Pour batter into pan and place in a COLD oven. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
