TAFFY APPLE SALAD 
1 lg. can pineapple tidbits, drained but SAVE THE JUICE
6 c. miniature marshmallows
6 c. tart apples, diced
1 1/2 to 2 c. chopped Spanish peanuts
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 tbsp. white vinegar
12 oz. Cool Whip

Mix pineapple and marshmallows and set aside. Mix juice, flour, sugar, egg, and vinegar and cook until thickened. Cool and mix with Cool Whip. Add pineapple and marshmallows. Fold in nuts and apples. Makes one large party bowl.
