CALIFORNIA CHICKEN | |
4 boneless chicken breasts, split & skinned (about 5 lbs. before deboned) 1 egg, beaten Bread crumbs 1/2 lb. brick cheese slices 1 c. chicken broth butter Cut each half of chicken breast in half again. Marinate in beaten egg overnight. Roll in bread crumbs and brown in butter. Arrange in baking dish and layer with cheese. Pour chicken broth over top. Cover and bake for one hour at 350 degrees. Serves 6. Good with rice pilaf, buttered noodles, or Stove Top stuffing. |
