BEET PICKLES 
beets
2 cups sugar
2 cups vinegar
1 tsp. cloves
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
2 cups water

Boil beet until done. Cool and peel. Set aside. Bring all other ingredients to a boil. Add beats and boil for about 10 minutes. Pack in sterilized jar and seal.
