FREEZER PICKLES | |
2 c. sugar 1 c. vinegar (white) 1 tbsp. salt 1 tsp. celery seed 7 c. sliced cucumbers 1 lg. onion, diced or sliced 1 lg. green pepper, diced Bring sugar, vinegar, salt and celery seed to a boil. Let mixture cook. Add cucumbers, onions and green peppers to mixture. Refrigerate for 24 hours stirring occasionally. After 24 hours, put pickles into freezer containers with some juice and freeze. Take pickles out of freezer and thaw as needed. |
