FIVE POUNDS OF WONDERFUL FUDGE | |
1/2 c. butter 1 can (14 1/2 oz.) evaporated milk 2 lb. sugar (4 1/2 c.) 1/2 lb. marshmallows 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate 3 pkg. (4 oz. each) sweet German chocolate 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits 1 tbsp. vanilla 2 c. nuts, chopped Combine butter, milk and sugar in a large heavy pan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Cook to a boil, cover and boil 5 minutes. Turn off heat. Add marshmallows, stir until melted. Add the 3 kinds of chocolate, one at a time, stirring until melted. Add vanilla and nuts. Blend and pour into a buttered pan. Let stand until firm before cutting. |
