1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
Sufficient blend of sugar & cinnamon for coating

Cream sugar and butter together. Add egg yolk. Sift flour and baking soda together. Add to butter mixture. Add vanilla and salt. Roll dough into 1 1/2" marbles. Roll in sugar and cinnamon to coat. Bake in slow oven, 300 degrees for 1/2 hour until light brown.
