SOFT GINGER CREAMS 
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. molasses
1 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 1/2 c. flour

Mix dough. Refrigerate overnight. Roll out thick. Bake and frost.

6 tbsp. melted butter
2 tbsp. hot water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
