SPAGHETTI SAUCE #1 BEST SAUCE IN

1 lb. ground beef or antelope sausage
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic sliced in two
1 can tomato paste (6 oz.) and 3 cans water
1 can tomato puree (10 oz.)
1 1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Bit of parsley

Mix all spices in mortar and pestle. Simmer ground beef or sausage and drain most of fat. Add onions. Add rest of ingredients and spices. Simmer until mixture cooks down and gets thick. All day but worth it. To make thinner or thicker adjust the 3 cans of water to 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 or whatever you like.
