CHOCOLATE CHIP STREUSEL COFFEE
CAKE
 
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
8 oz. Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
3 eggs
3/4 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk

CRUMB MIXTURE: Combine brown sugar and flour; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in walnuts and chocolate pieces.

Combine cream cheese, sugar, and butter, mixing at medium speed with mixer. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add combined dry ingredients with milk, mixing well after each addition. Spoon batter into greased and floured 10 inch tube cake pan. Sprinkle with crumb mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Remove tube insert from outer pan. Cool thoroughly before removing cake from tube insert.
