GINGERED CARROTS 
8 lg. carrots
1 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 stick butter

Cut carrots lengthwise. Cook covered in boiling salted water to just underdone. Combine sugar and ginger. Roll carrot in mixture. Melt butter in 10 inch skillet. Cook 10 minutes, turning, until glazed. (May be done the day before).
