1 c. warm water 1 pkg. yeast 3 tbsp. sugar 1 qt. buttermilk 6-7 c. self-rising flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. peanut oil Mix liquid ingredients together. That includes water, buttermilk, and oil along with your yeast and sugar. Mix the flour along with the powder and salt. Put all ingredients in big plastic bowl, airtight with a tight lid, burp and put in refrigerator. Will last for a week. Just pinch off the amount needed. |
