SAUERKRAUT CASSEROLE 
5 strips bacon
1 onion, chopped
1 can kraut
1 can whole tomatoes, cut in fourths
1 c. sugar

1. Cut bacon and fry until crisp. Remove and drain.

2. Saute onions in drippings.

3. Add sugar, kraut, tomatoes and some bacon.

4. Stir well.

5. Pour into buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole and sprinkle with remaining bacon.

6. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
