GINGER SNAP COOKIES 
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg (well beaten)
1/2 c. dark molasses
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Mix all the ingredients in large mixing bowl.

3. Roll into balls and roll balls in sugar.

4. Bake in greased cookie sheet for 8 to 10 minutes.
