CRUNCHY NUT TOPPING FOR PUMPKIN
PIE
 
1 c. pecans or walnuts, coarsely chopped
3 tbsp. butter, melted
2/3 c. firmly packed light brown sugar

Mix nuts and sugar in bowl; add melted butter. Stir well and sprinkle mixture over completely cooled pumpkin pie. Broil about 5 inches from heat for 1-2 minutes or until bubbly. Serve warm or cool. Garnish with whipped cream.
