SCALLOPED TOMATOES 
12 slices bread cubes
1 qt. tomatoes, drain off most of juice
1/4 lb. butter

Melt butter and mix with bread cubes. Put 1/2 bread cubes in 1 1/2 quart buttered casserole. Put 1/2 of tomatoes over bread cubes. Repeat bread layer, then tomato layer. Sprinkle bread cubes over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
