GREEN CHILE STEW 
1 lb. ground beef, pork or turkey
1 med. onion
3 cloves garlic, chopped
3 lg. potatoes, peeled & diced
1 lb. fresh or frozen green chile
1 tbsp. oregano
Salt and pepper
1 tbsp. oil

Brown onion in oil. Add ground meat and garlic. When meat is brown, add diced potatoes. Cook covered for 15 minutes. Add green chile and oregano. Cover with water and simmer 3 hours, stir occasionally. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve with warm tortillas.
