1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. shortening
2 c. flour

Mix as you would any cookie recipe. Tom adds nuts or chocolate chips. He even tried sugar smack cereal. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes. This is an original recipe that Tom made up. It has been tested in our kitchen, and we are still here!
