QUICK DINNER ROLLS 
1 c. warm water
1 pkg. dry yeast
2 tbsp. sugar
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
2 tbsp. shortening

Dissolve yeast in water; stir in sugar, half of flour and salt into yeast. Beat with spoon until smooth. Add egg and rest of flour and shortening. Beat until smooth. Let rise, covered with towel, 30 minutes in warm place. Stir down raised dough. Spoon into 12 greased muffin pans and let rise again. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in 350 degree oven.
