COCONUT CREAM TORTE FROM LARCHWOOD RESTAURANT | |
Mix: 1 1/2 c. flour 1 1/2 sticks melted butter 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts Spread in 9 x 12 inch dish and bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool completely. Mix and spread over cooled crust: 1 c. Cool Whip (from 8 oz. container) 1 c. confectioners' sugar 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, room temperature Then beat together: 2 pkg. instant coconut cream pudding mix 3 c. milk Spread over cheese mixture. Spread remainder of Cool Whip over pudding and sprinkle with crushed walnuts and flaked coconut. |
