QUICK CRANBERRY PIE 
2 c. fresh cranberries
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. melted butter
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/4 c. melted vegetable shortening

Butter a 10 inch pie plate well. Spread cranberries in plate and sprinkle with the 1/2 cup sugar and walnuts. Set aside. Next, beat eggs well; add the 1 cup sugar gradually and beat thoroughly. Add flour, melted butter and shortening to egg/sugar mixture. Beat well. Pour the batter over the cranberries. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour until golden brown. Cut like pie and turn over so cranberries are now on top.
