CAPE COD CRANBERRY CRISP 
2 c. fresh cranberries
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
3/4 c. sugar
1 stick butter (melted and cooled) egg
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter 9-inch pie plate. Combine 1/2 cup walnuts, 1/4 cup sugar, and 2 tablespoons of melted butter. Place cranberries evenly on pie plate and sprinkle walnut mixture over cranberries.

In a medium bowl beat egg and 1/2 cup sugar. In a small bowl, blend flour with spices. Combine with previous mix and stir in remaining butter. Blend well. Pour over cranberries. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until golden. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
