FIVE FLAVOR POUND CAKE | |
3 sticks butter, softened 3 c. sugar 5 eggs, well beaten 3 c. all purpose flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking powder or baking soda 1 c. milk or buttermilk 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring 1 tsp. butter flavoring 1 tsp. coconut flavoring 1 tsp. lemon extract 1 tsp. rum flavoring Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs. In a separate bowl, blend flour, salt and baking powder or soda together. Alternately, add milk and flour mixture to creamed ingredients. Stir in flavorings and extract. Pour into a greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 80 to 90 minutes. |
