GOLDEN POTATOES CASSEROLE 
6 med. potatoes (not peeled)
1 pt. sour cream
10 oz. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
1 bunch chopped green onions
3 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 c. bread crumbs

Cook potatoes in boiling salted water until tender. Remove from water and cool. Peel potatoes. Grate potatoes with coarse grater. Add next 6 ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Turn into buttered 9x13 pan. Smooth top with a spatula. Combine melted butter and bread crumbs. Bake at 300 degrees 50 minutes. Cut into squares and serve. Makes 8 generous servings.
