SWEET DILL PICKLES 
1 gal. whole dills, drained and sliced (discard juice pickles came in)
2 oz. jar Tabasco sauce
4 lbs. sugar
2 garlic cloves (sliced)

Place sliced pickles in a large glass or plastic container. Add sugar all at once. Add garlic slices and Tabasco. Cover container with cheesecloth. Stir occasionally - it will makes its own juice as sugar dissolves. After 12 hours or so, put pickles and sugar syrup back into gallon jar that pickles originally came in. Store in refrigerator. Can be served immediately.
