DATE LOAF (Candy) 
2 c. sugar
1 c. nuts
2 c. milk
1 c. dates

Cook sugar, milk and dates until forms a soft ball in cold water; add nuts. Roll in damp cold cloth and put in refrigerator. When chilled, remove cloth and slice. Serves 8-10.
