FRENCH FRIED POPCORN 
Use 2 quarts corn or vegetable oil. Set temperature knob to 400 degrees. Place empty basket in fryer allowing basket to set on bottom. When pilot light goes off at 400 degrees, sprinkle 1/4 cup popping corn into basket, cover fryer and wait for corn to pop. Lift basket from fryer, drain and pour popped corn into bowl. Salt and serve.
