SALAD:

1 lb. fresh spinach, torn to salad size pieces
1 head lettuce, torn to salad size pieces
1/2 lb. fried & crumbled bacon
1 1/2 c. lg. curd cottage cheese

Mix above ingredients together.

DRESSING:

1/3 c. white sugar
1 tbsp. onion juice
2/3 c. salad oil
1/3 c. water
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1 tbsp. poppy seeds
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard

Mix ingredients well. Dressing can be served on the side or blended in salad before serving.
