HAZELNUT CRESCENTS 
1 c. butter at room temperature
3/4 c. powdered sugar
2 1/4 c. flour
4 oz. hazelnuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. chopped lemon peel
Powdered sugar

Beat butter and 3/4 cup sugar until fluffy. Mix remaining ingredients except powdered sugar. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Refrigerate 1 hour. Place balls on an ungreased cookie sheet form into half moons.

Bake 8 minutes at 400 degrees. While cookies are warm, roll in powdered sugar.
