DOUBLE QUICK DINNER ROLLS | |
1 pkg. dry yeast 1 c. warm water 2 tbsp. sugar 2 1/4 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1 egg 2 tbsp. soft shortening Dissolve yeast in water. Stir sugar, 1/2 cup of flour and salt in yeast. Mix until smooth. Add egg and shortening. Stir in remaining flour. Cover with damp cloth and set in warm area. Let rise about 40 minutes. Punch dough and divide into muffin pan cups. Let rise. Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 400 degrees. |
