FRESH ORANGE AND ONION SALAD 
1/2 head curly endive
1/2 head romaine
1/2 c. mild white onion rings
1/4 c. salad oil
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 sm. head lettuce
3 fresh oranges
3 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. prepared mustard

Wash salad greens and dry thoroughly. Tear into bite size pieces and place in a salad bowl. Peel oranges and cut into crosswise slices. Place as desired over the salad greens and top with onion rings. Combine remaining ingredients. Beat with rotary beater. Add just before serving. Toss lightly. Serves 10.
