COUNTRY STYLE FRIED CHICKEN | |
2 tbsp. shortening 2 lb. chicken parts 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning 1 to 1 1/2 c. sliced carrots 2 tbsp. chopped onion Bit of chopped parsley Brown the chicken in shortening. Pour off fat. Stir in soup, seasoning and carrots. Add onions and parsley. Cover and cook over low heat 45 minutes or until tender. Serve with mashed potatoes. |
