CHOCOLATE UPSIDE DOWN CAKE 
1 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
1 sq. chocolate
1/2 c. nutmeats (optional)
3 tbsp. cocoa
2/3 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. white sugar
1 1/2 c. boiling water

Mix dry ingredients. Add milk and nuts. Melt butter and chocolate square and add to flour mixture pour into buttered pan.

Mix cocoa, brown and white sugar. Pour boiling water over it. Then pour this mixture over cake mixture in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Cake will rise to top. Sauce will go to bottom. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream. Spoon sauce over dessert.
