STUFFED PEPPERS 
4 green peppers
4 red peppers
1 lb. chopped meat
4 pieces sausage (sweet)
1 c. raisins
1 sm. onion
1 c. rice
Oil
Pignoli nuts (optional)
1 c. grated cheese (Parmesan)

Remove tops of peppers, chop pepper around stem into small pieces. In oil saute chopped onion. Cook 1 cup rice (do not fully cook).

Mix together 1 pound chopped meat, 4 pieces sausage (removed from casing), 1 cup raisins, 1 cup cooked rice, pignoli nuts, 1 cup grated cheese and cooked onion with oil. Stuff peppers with mixture. Bake at 350 until peppers are tender.
